FESTIVAL PARKING

The following areas are designated for parking on Festival day:

1. School Oval
Festival parking is available on the school oval at a reasonable rate of $2.00 per day.  When travelling from the Gympie, Kingaroy or Nanango direction, go through Goomeri and over the railway line.  At the bottom of Dickinson Park, turn left at the Tennis Courts. Immediately past the tennis courts is a double gate which gives access to the school oval.

When travelling from the north, turn right at the Tennis courts.  Immediately past the tennis courts, in the side street, is a double gate which gives access to the school oval.

A designated disability parking area is located in the school grounds. 

All proceeds from the parking on the school oval go to the Goomeri State School.

2. Railway yards
Parking is also available in the old railway yards.   When coming into Goomeri from the Kilkivan/Gympie direction, turn right just after the motel.

3. Spare allotment
Parking is also available on a spare allotment which adjoins the Catholic Church.  On arrival in Goomeri from the Kilkivan/Gympie direction, turn left at the Motel and continue up McGregor Street until you reach Hodge Street. Turn left into Hodge Street and turn on to the spare allotment. THERE WILL NOT BE PARKING ALLOWED ALONG THE SIDES OF THE ROAD IN MCGREGGOR STREET. The spare allotment is the only area for parking in this street.
Please be advised that traffic is redirected along McGregor Street at particular times during the day when roads need to be closed.

NOTE: PARKING IN ANY AREA ALONG THE SIDES OF ROADS AND STREETS IN THE TOWN WHICH ARE TAPED OFF, WILL RESULT IN POLICE ACTION.
