On festival day, if you have registered on-line:
- Bring your on-line receipt and your table pumpkin(minimum 12cm diameter) to the Express/Pre-registration desk at the Great Australian Pumpkin Roll™ Nomination Booth
- Registration officer will check your name and mark your pumpkin and
- Off you go to enjoy the festival. NO LONG QUEUEING TIME

Nominations open at 8.30am at the Great Australian Pumpkin Roll™ Nomination booth located in Memorial Place, near the Town Clock. Nominate early or you may miss out. Nominations close at 1.00pm.
How to nominate:
- Bring your table pumpkin (minimum diameter 12cm) with you to the registration desk.
- Adult roll entry fee $7.00 + bring your pumpkin
- Juvenile (14 & under) roll entry fee $3.00 + bring your pumpkin
- Registration officer will record your details, mark your pumpkin and collect payment.
- Collect a set of rules.
At the nomination desk, Adults join the Adult queue and Juveniles join the Juvenile queue. These are two separate lines with different people taking nominations for the Adult and Juvenile Rolls.

$1000 to the person whose pumpkin is on the lucky spot at the end of the roll. If more than one pumpkin is on the spot at the end of the roll, then the money is shared equally.

Rules and Regulations
RULES OF THE COMPETITION:
1. The registration shall be $7.00 per adult competitor and $3.00 per juvenile competitor. Pumpkins must accompany competitors when lodging registration at the booth in Memorial Place, above the Town Clock (new location).
2. Pumpkins can be either purchased on the day or you can bring your own with you. Pumpkins must be at least 12cm in diameter.
3. Each pumpkin will bear the identification of the Pumpkin Festival organizing committee.
4. A competitor will be disqualified if:
- the pumpkin leaves the marked track.
- the competitor crosses the start line or any part thereof.
- after the start, the pumpkin is touched by anyone.
5. Pumpkins can be pushed, rolled or bowled using an underarm action. No throwing or overarm bowling of pumpkins is allowed.
6. Competitors/spectators cannot enter the designated pumpkin track at any time during or following the roll until results are recorded.
7. Competitors must assemble at the start line at 1.30pm for marshalling (top of Policeman’s Hill/Hodge Street).
8. Any competitor not present when his/her names/number is called for marshalling will be disqualified.
9. The competition will be run in two divisions:
- Adult (over 14 years)
- Juvenile (14 years and under)
If there is any doubt, proof of age will be required for juveniles.
10. If a pumpkin is deemed by the registration officer to be too big for safety in the roll, then that pumpkin will not be registered.(e.g. well oversized table pumpkin)
11. The judges’ decisions are final.

(Table pumpkins only – Butternut Pumpkins are not recommended for rolling.)
